Common questions
Where do the weather reports come from?
From aviationweather.gov, the U.S. National Weather Service’s Aviation Weather Center. ClearSky shows them as it receives them, so a report can be late or missing.
Can I use ClearSky for my preflight briefing?
No. It is a quick look, not an official weather briefing. Before any flight, get a full briefing through the official channels.
Where is my data?
The airports you follow, your widgets and your settings stay on your device. There is no account, and we don’t run a server for ClearSky.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every purchase of ClearSky, so a refund is Apple’s to give. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What do you do with my message?
We use it only to reply to you. ClearSky’s privacy policy says what a support message holds and how we keep it.
